Foundation Piling
Round poles for wood foundations have been used for over 2,000 years. Although Cobb Lumber Company has not been supplying them for that long, we do have the knowledge and experience to supply what you need in the way of beach home piling, marine piling and foundation piling. Treatments include CCA, Creosote, and Penta. Species available include Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir, and Western Red Cedar.

TIMBER PILES AT COBB LUMBER ARE MANUFACTURED TO American Society for Testing and Materials ( ASTM ) D25 STANDARDS. TREATMENTS AVAILABLE INCLUDE: CREOSOTE, PENTA AND CCA. OUR PILING ARE TREATED TO AMERICAN WOOD – PRESERVES’ ASSOCIATION ( AWPA ) STANDARDS. DIFFERENT RETENTION LEVELS ARE AVAILABLE FOR DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS.
