A prescription for getting rid of green house gases Forever!
CVS Pharmacy, in Leesville, LA, has come up with the prescription for removing some 51,000 lbs of green house gases and putting it where it will never see the light of day again, 30 feet under the ground. Why did they put it there you may ask? To help support their new store. 150 pieces of 30’ treated wood piling were driven to a minimum load rating of 75 tons. Each piling sequesters a minimum of 17 lbs of green house per cubic foot of wood from the atmosphere. CVS Pharmacy has built a new store (property taxes), has added new jobs (job creation) and has removed green house gases from the environment (going green). They definitely have the right Prescription for what ails us.
